Account

The HotClays app can be used without creating an account, but many features are only available when you are logged in. Features which require a free account include:

• Online backup of scores
• Syncing scores between devices
• Sharing for scoring (event code)
• Sharing by link

These features send information to our servers, and they require login for security and practical reasons. Until you create an account, there is no way to identify who owns which scores. We use your email address to know which scores to sync when you log in on another device. Your information is stored securely on our servers, and we do not sell your data (see our privacy policy for details).

Create an Account

To create a free account, navigate to the Account tab and tap the topmost row titled ‘Sign Up / Log In.’ Then tap ‘Sign Up Free.’ Enter your first name, last name, email, and a password. Then tap ‘Sign Up’ to finish signing up.

Alternatively, you can sign up on the HotClays website. You use the same account on the HotClays app and website, so you only need to sign up in one place.

Log In

To log in to your account, navigate to the Account tab and tap the topmost row titled ‘Sign Up / Log In.’ Then tap ‘Log In.’ Enter your email and password password. Then tap ‘Log In’ to finish logging in.

Log Out

To log out of your account, navigate to the Account tab and tap the topmost row showing your name and email address. Then tap ‘Log Out’ to finish logging out.

Edit Account Details

To edit your account details, navigate to the Account tab and tap the topmost row showing your name and email address. Then tap ‘Edit Profile,’ edit your information, and tap ‘Save’ in the top-right corner.
